~Tripti ~

‘Come to me, Come to me’ in nectar sweet voice of Guruji  – were my first thoughts today morning. Half asleep, I thought HE is calling me to the Long Kriya session. Least I could imagine why such thought came to me this very morning.
At around 8:15 am,  was sitting in a peaceful state almost ready to begin the Long Kriya when my teacher told  the big news “ Guruji is in town & you all can go to meet HIM after the Long kriya session.”  The peace of my mind was lost the moment I heard that. Kriya was unusual coz I was jiggling with all thoughts of meeting HIM ;)  ( The place where G was staying was very far & completely unknown to me, I couldnot figure out how would I manage to go there.)
10:00 am – It was raining outside & I was asking everyone after  the session if they are going to have HIS darshan. Unbelievable !! No one was going. Almost everyone had met HIM just few days back at VFABI event so no one was as excited or I shud say desperate as I was for HIS darshan.  And those lucky few whose desperation level coincides with mine had met HIM last night itself when G’s flight landed at Delhi. (Gwashh sm people have freedom to go out of their home at 11 pm at night to meet G)
Finally I convinced a friend (Chhavi) to go there on her scooty.  Then I made a call at my place to say that its raining out here heavily so I have to stay here till weather cleans up a bit & there is a session going on where food will also be served ; I would attend it, eat food and come back around 12 noon.  It wasn’t easy to get permission but I got it somehow. The timing of Darshan ws till 12noon so I was hopeful  that we will get HIS darshan at  around 11/ 11:30 am & then I will be back on time (my definition of ‘on time’ means upto 1 hour late ;))
It was cold and drizzling plus we both were empty stomach, but none of these were good a reason to miss a glimpse of the HIM. As we crossed few roads, drizzling disappeared & its place was taken by RAIN. I always loved rains, but  you know when you are travelling on scooty in full speed with droplets of cold water hitting your face like arrows your love for rains surely take a backseat :D
To make it a joyride we started chanting n singing bhajans & the ice cold breeze n shivering body failed to bother us anymore. I enjoyed it !! May be it was my training session specially designed by G to sing in satsangs in future. J
Around 11 am : We reached our destination. Drenched and dusted !!
Handful of devotees were already standing there waiting for HIS darshan. After few initial interesting chitchats, I started feeling that time was running quite fast & the thought that I have to reach back home on time started bothering me. Suddenly the gate opened a little & a volunteer came out to offer us the PRASAD. The content & quantity of Prasad  relieved my mind a little & my stomach to quite some extent.  Prasad included the following :
Idli + Sambar + upma + chutney  :D
How would HE not arrange something to eat for me, when I had told at my place that I will be eating at the session.  Even the smallest details are taken care of !!
At around 12 noon : I cald at my place to check if they angry or something n I told that I am having food now. Things were fine. I thought may be if G comes up in next few minutes then I wll be able to reach home on time.  Then every time the gate would open I looked for some news abt G’s darshan but all I could see was a guy passing on the plates of prasadam to devotees. I wanted to eat more but the longing for food for soul took over my mind, n I lost the charm of that tasty hot food in front of me.
A bit hungry and worried I was waiting desperately for HIM and there was no clue when HE would come.  I started chanting and was constantly looking up at the top of that house, where supposedly G’s kutir is located asking HIM to come before my heart breaks down.
At 12:30 pm – I cald up my Bro to check if he could understand the whole situation  and help me out somehow in staying there till I get to see G.  Idea flopped L He told me to come back home immediately. (Why people don’t understand having a Guru in life is not unusual) Phewww !!!  I was left with no other option, I told my friend that I need to take an auto and rush back home now. Almost in tears, I prayed to HIM that I don’t wanna go back home empty handed and with wet eyes.
ANDDDDD the gate finally opened wide within just next few minutes to let us in.
UNBELIEVABLE it was !!!!
A sofa covered with beautiful red satin n silk cusions was arranged for G.  Above the sofa, two white and red thin sheets of cloth were tied from the ceiling to the adjacent walls. The area was decorated with delicate lights. Enchanting !! Almost like a dream !!
We all started singing bhajans n were eagerly waiting for G who cud be there any moment. I was completely lost  but unfortunately my cell found me somehow. It was buzzing continuously & all calls were from home. But as HE entered the room that buzzing cell became non-existent too.
I was sitting just 2 feet away from HIM.  Though there was no distance on the conscious level. I was soaked,  not in the cold water droplets of rain this time ~_~
Devotee : Guruji, I love you..
G : OOhoo.. Yeh to purana kahani hai, kuch naya batao.
Devotee : How was Kumbh ?
G : Very old J (I guess HE meant to tell us that tradition of Kumbh is very old )
Devotee  (me): Guruji, Aap itna wait kyun karate ho ?
G : Smiled.. J
Devotee : Are you tired Guruji?
G : Yeah, I think I should go and take some rest.
Devotees : Please don’t go, main aapka sir daba deti hun :D
G : Acha yahan Mughal Garden humne suna 4 bje tak khula rehta hai, jao sab log wahan jake sab dekh ke aao.
Devotees : Par aap bhi sath chalo Guruji.
G : Agar hum jayenge to parade ho jaayega wahan.
G : (pointing towards table) Ok now you all take Prasad, mithai baanto sabko.
Devotees : We want to take it from your hands Guruji.
G : Arre,  Hum kya koi mithai wale hai, sab humse mithai loge.
Devotee : Aap to Blessing wale ho !!

Devotee : Ab aage kya karna hai ?
G: wahi jo piche kiya tha.
G : Chalo abi sab dhyan karte hain
Devotees : Nahi aap  aankhen band karwa ke chale jaaoge.

Devotee (me) : Guruji, Aapke bina dil nhi lagta
G : Looked at me, Smiled & winked !!

No other question remained.  He stood up and went away. The pain in my heart was gone & so was my heart ( HE stole it ;))
At 2 :00 pm : I got to talk at my place & I could sense things are messed up. But I was ready to face it.
While coming back the sky was clear. The drizzling n cold breeze was now replaced by warmth of Sun (Ravi ) rays. Could not have asked for more !!!!
~ Tripti ~ now I know how it tastes like J
BTW nothing happened at home when I reached, G secretly took care of everything J
